Draftlight's Typography Group designs and selects fonts, typeface schemes and logos. From creating branding schemas to custom-designed fonts for top-level projects, our typographers have extensive experience of both typeface design and consumer-viewpoint aesthetics.

Many of our clients need a unique high-impact logotype, something that will burn into the memory of everyone seeing it. From motion pictures and musical artists to product brands, websites and company logos, having the right font is a vital part of the brand memory. If we say words like Microsoft, Coke or Disney, in the back of your mind will appear some very unique letters. You know they relate to the word, but what isn't as clear is how they are chosen to convey the right moods, emotions and associations. Corporate. Trustworthy. Fun. Modern. Reliable. Part of history. It may not be very obvious how we do it, but it works.

The designs we create are mostly sold to one client for their exclusive use. While you can buy some of our public-issue fonts from both here and elsewhere, we're not looking for private commissions so please don't ask.
