Draftlight Networks is an active supporter of online privacy and as such enforces a strict and
minimally-invasive policy on data retention and acceptance via our public websites.
As an anonymous member of the public using our websites, only minimal data is collected on your
visit, sufficient to provide the required viewing experience and track statistics, but no more.
As a member of our secure client areas, more detailed information is retained, some of it
personally-identifiable, and details of this are available within the appropriate section of your
secure account.
Problem Resolution
Report specific privacy, accuracy or liability issues to the system administration using our online
contact form. We will take appropriate action as soon as possible.
Data Collection
We collect the following data on our websites:
- Access logs: The webserver collects basic information such the Internet Protocol (IP)
address (which is not an E-Mail address) of the visitor, the Internet address of the web page
from which the user was referred, search terms used to find our website, browser, operating system,
server errors, and places it in the server log. Collection of this sort of information is a
common practice on the Internet. We use this information for statistical analysis of our website
traffic and provide gross numbers to third parties such as our advertisers and publish some of it
in our Web Site Statistics. This information does not specifically identify visitors to our website,
but may be used to track down a visitor via his or her service provider in cases of abuse
of our terms and conditions. This information is not optional.
- Specific User Information: Specific visitor information, such as the visitor's name,
E-Mail address, home country and IP address is collected on this website when a visitor wants to:
- Submit a question to us via our Contact form.
- Access a secure area using a pre-supplied membership account.

- Flash Datapackets: Flash menus and rich media systems used on our website may store
temporary variables on your computer, which are used for tracking page clicks, sound and video
preferences and system settings. No personal data is stored and the contents are only accessible
by our website. These features are not optional, though it is possible to disable the storage of
local datapackets within Flash using the advanced configuration option. Flash datapackets are
entirely harmless and will not consume more than 50kb of space on your computer. They cannot be
used to send software, viruses, spyware or to force installation of any program.
