The Evanescence font
During 2003 Evanescence, a signing with
Wind-Up Records you may have heard about, went for the
whole new-image-makeover thing, including of course a new font for the album.
For some reason, people kept asking for it, and in a rare moment of insanity I gave it away on this
site... since then it's appeared on books, on TV, on countless tattoos and on AOL's Halloween theme.
It's figured on a few CDs as well, apparently.
Well, it's still here and still free, but don't ask me for updates.

Torture me so sweetly
I know it won't stop the brainless from asking every day, but you can't have the fonts for the artwork for the new album. Goudy Old Style Italic was used in the digipak, the tracklisting is a hand-modified collection from the Storm Jannon family, and the album title is a little something you're just never going to see given away. You also can't have a signed copy of the new album, or MP3s from it, or details of love affairs, breakups, addictions, predictions or dress sizes. If you want the album, you can go buy it. Seriously - please. Go buy it. Those few left in the band have lawyers to pay.
If you can't fork out the cash to collect it from Amazon or Music Today, don't believe in the corporate powers of iTunes, Napster or Connect, and you can't get off your ass to walk to the store, then you'll probably be looking to download it from somewhere. Well I won't help. All you can do is click here.
